Punta Primera Junta is a headland in the north of Bryde Island off the Danco coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It marks the western limit of the entrance from Paradise Harbor into Alvaro Bay .
Argentine scientists named it after the Primera Junta , the first independent government in Argentina that emerged during the May Revolution of 1810 .
