Punta Sanhueza is a headland on the Danco coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the east bank of the Aguirre Passage , it lies between Punta Krug and Punta Guzmán .
Scientists of the 5th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1950–1951) named them after Eduardo Sanhueza Carmona, captain of the ship Lientur on this research trip .
