Punta de Carretera is a town in Uruguay .
geography
Punta de Carretera is located in the northern part of Uruguay in the Tacuarembó department in sector 8 . The place is located southwest of Puntas de Cinco Sauces , north-northwest of Las Toscas and east-southeast of Pueblo del Barro .
Infrastructure
The place is affected south of the Ruta 26 .
Residents
At the 2011 Census, the population of Punta de Carretera was 110, of which 63 were male and 47 were female. The Instituto Nacional de Estadística de Uruguay has not collected any data for the previous censuses in 1963, 1975, 1985, 1996 and 2004 .
