Pupkewitz Holdings ( Pupkewitz or Pupkewitz Group for short ) is a Namibian group of companies based in Windhoek . It was headed by Harold Pupkewitz , the son of the company founder, until his death on April 27, 2012.

The company founded by Max Pupkewitz in 1925 is one of the largest corporate groups in Namibia and is a leader in many segments. Since its inception, ethics and employee support have been the company's top priority. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Namibia and a planned restructuring, the company offered all employees a termination package in June 2020.

The company is divided into several business areas as partially independent companies. Which includes:

  • "Catering Supplies", since 1978 (equipping, among other things, large kitchens)
  • "GreenTech" as an independent Pupkewitz GreenTech (Pty) Ltd , since 2009 (specializing in agricultural and irrigation technology)
  • "MegaCell", since 2000 (largest dealer of mobile phones in Namibia)
  • "MegaTech" (sales of technology products to construction companies, among others)
  • "Pupkewitz Motors" (sales of, among others, Chevrolet , GWM / Haval , Honda , Isuzu , Lexus , Nissan , Opel and Toyota from 16 own car dealerships)
  • "Pupkewitz Properties" (internal management of group properties)
  • "Pupkewitz MegaBuild" as an independent M. Pupkewitz & Sons (Pty) Ltd , since 1923 (one of the largest construction market groups in southern Africa) - this branch of the company was to be sold to a South African company at the end of May 2010 .
  • "Pupkewitz MegaBoard" - since March 2019; Wood and carpentry supplies

In addition, the Pupkewitz Holdings unites all social projects under the "Pupkewitz Foundation" as a foundation. This includes in particular the promotion of municipalities with regard to education and nature conservation.
