Puurmani (German: Talkhof ) was an Estonian rural community in Jõgeva County with an area of 292.7 km². It had 1845 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2010).
In addition to the main town of Puurmani (729 inhabitants), the municipality included the villages of Altnurga, Härjanurme, Jõune, Jüriküla, Kirikuvalla, Kursi, Laasme, Pikknurme, Pööra, Saduküla , Tammiku and Tõrve.
The Puurmani manor is particularly worth seeing. The facility was founded in the 14th century. The current building in neo -renaissance style was constructed in the 1860s.
