Pyecombe is a village in the Mid Sussex district in West Sussex , England . It is a few miles north of Brighton . According to the 2001 census, Pyecombe had a total of 200 inhabitants.

history

The name “Pyecombe” is derived from “peac cumb” (“summit valley”).

The parish church was largely built in 1170.
