Pynthorumkhrah is a city in the Indian state of Meghalaya .
The city is part of the East Khasi Hills district . Pynthorumkhrah has the status of a Census Town . The city is divided into 1 wards . On the cut-off date of the 2011 census it had 27,219 inhabitants, of whom 13,706 were men and 13,513 women. Christians make up the majority of the city's population with a share of just over 50%.
