The Pyramid Ponds are a group of ponds in East Antarctic Victoria Land . They are located south of Trough Lake in the Pyramid Trough of the Royal Society Range and belong to the river system of the Alph River .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 1994 in connection with the basin of the Pyramid Trough and the nearby summit The Pyramid .
