The Pyramid Trough ( English for pyramid trough ) is a deep basin west of the summit The Bulwark in the Royal Society Range of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . A tributary of the Koettlitz Glacier once flowed through it to the north to Walcott Bay .
Participants of the Antarctic expeditions undertaken by Victoria University (1960-1961) named it after its local proximity to the summit The Pyramid .
