Qader Eshpari

Qader Eshpari ( Persian قادر اشپاري; * September 1967 in Kabul , Afghanistan ) is an Afghan singer . He currently lives in Fremont , California .

Life

Qader Eshpari was born in a suburb of Kabul. He is said to have been interested in music at the age of five and learned to play instruments. After the invasion of the Soviet army, he and his family fled to Germany, and they later traveled on to the USA. After graduating from high school in Las Vegas , Nevada , he moved to California . There he obtained a degree in computer science and then worked for IBM as a technical support engineer for three years , until he decided to return to the musical interests of his childhood.

Through his training he was able to program drum computers , samplers and keyboards in such a way that they reproduced the timbres of Afghan music. To this day, Qader Eshpari also writes pieces for other Afghan musicians and arranges for these albums. In December 2007 he personally donated the proceeds of his video Aashiana to the organization “Aschiana” in Kabul, which supports street children there, usually orphans.

Qader has a deep interest in Indian culture and music , which is reflected in much of his recorded songs. His samples of popular Indian film songs can be found on almost every one of his albums. So far, Quader Esphari has made several concert tours through the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe, India and Afghanistan.
