Qamsar ( Persian قمصر) is a city in Isfahan Province in the Kashan administrative district ( Shahrestan ) in Iran .

Qamsar includes several villages such as Javinan, Ghohrood, Kamu and Muslim Abad. Qamsar is located 25 km south of the city of Kashan and is the largest center for rose water production in the Middle East.

Qamsar, along with the two smaller towns of Niasar and Barzook, is the main producer of rose water oils and concrète (paste). This is filtered and cleaned, diluted with alcohol which then results in the absolute. Concrète and absolute are used in perfumery. Much of it is sold to the well-known perfume manufacturers in France, Grasse.

The Kaaba in Mecca is washed once a year with rose water from Qamsar. Every year a different producer from the village is considered who is allowed to supply the rose water.

Cobalt ore was mined in Qamsar from the 13th century, probably earlier, until the 20th century. The blue pigment was processed into glaze for pottery and exported far beyond Persia.
