Qazaq Air is a Kazakh regional airline based in Almaty and based at Almaty Airport .
history
The airline was founded in February 2014 by the national pension fund Samruk Kazyna as Air Kazakhstan . It was founded with the purpose of serving new and also some of Air Astana discontinued connections within Kazakhstan.
In February 2015 the name was changed to Qazaq Air and in April it was registered under this name. The first aircraft was taken over on July 6, 2015, and regular scheduled flight service began on August 28 of the same year.
Destinations
Qazaq Air serves a total of ten destinations within Kazakhstan from Almaty and international flights have also been offered for the first time since July 2017. The first route is two times a week from Almaty to Issyk-Kul Airport in Kyrgyzstan .
