Qi Kang

Qi Kang Chinese  齊 康  /  齐 康 , Pinyin Qí Kāng , (born October 26, 1931 in Nanjing ) is a Chinese architect and professor. He is a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the French Academy of Architecture (Académie d'architecture).

Life

  • In 1944, Qi attended Tonglun Middle School, and in 1948 graduated from high school
  • In 1948, Qi attended Central National University, and in 1952 graduated from Nanjing University. After the university reform, he worked under Professor Yang Tingbao at the Nanjing Technical Institute.
  • 1983, professorship
  • In 1989 his design was awarded a national prize.
  • 2001 Liang Sicheng Prize
