The Qing Hu ( Chinese 清 湖 , Pinyin Qīng Hú - "clear lake") is a small lake on the Stansbury Peninsula in the north of Nelson Island , one of the South Shetland Islands . The strikingly clear lake is fed by meltwater from a slope to the south. A stream rises in the northwest of the lake and flows into the Niudu Hu located to the west .
Chinese scientists named him in 1986 in the course of surveying and mapping work.
