The Qixiang Shan ( Chinese 气象 山 , Pinyin Qìxiàng Shān - "meteorological mountain ") is a 17 meter high rocky hill on the Fildes Peninsula of King George Island , the largest of the South Shetland Islands . The hill in the middle of the Great Wall of China is 50 meters in diameter and difficult to climb.
In 1985 it was named for its proximity to the weather station at the time during the survey work prior to the construction of the station .
