The Qoros 5 is the first SUV and, after the Qoros 3, the second car model from the Chinese car manufacturer Qoros . The vehicle was presented to the public for the first time in November 2015 at the Guangzhou Auto Show and has been on sale in China since March 2016. In contrast to the Qoros 3, the SUV is not sold in Europe.
It is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with an output of 115 kW (156 hp), which is also used in the Qoros 3. The vehicle is only offered with front-wheel drive . A 6-speed manual gearbox is used as the standard gearbox , a 6-speed dual clutch gearbox is optionally available. The Qoros 5 is offered in five equipment variants. A 1.6-liter turbo engine with 145 kW (197 hp) has also been available since September 2019.
