The Qoros 3 is the first car model from the Chinese car manufacturer Qoros . The four-door sedan was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2013 . Sales started in China at the end of 2013; In Europe, the car is currently only available in Slovakia (as of October 2016) .

The Qoros 3 is offered as a four-cylinder 1.6-liter gasoline engine in two output levels. This is available as a 126 hp variant with a naturally aspirated engine and 155 Nm torque and as a turbo version with 156 hp and 210 Nm torque. Both versions have a six-speed manual transmission as standard . A six-speed dual clutch transmission is optionally available.
For future models, Qoros is working with AVL to develop a three-cylinder 1.2-liter turbo engine and a new four-cylinder 1.6-liter turbo engine, both with direct injection .
The body comes from the Austrian automobile manufacturer Magna Steyr . The German automobile designer Gert Volker Hildebrand is responsible for the design .

In September 2013, the Qoros 3 became the first Chinese car to achieve a five-star result in the crash test according to the Euro NCAP standard. In the test, it received a 95% rating for the protection of adult occupants, an 87% rating for passenger protection for children, a 77% rating for pedestrian protection and an 81% rating for its safety assistance systems . It is considered the safest Chinese car tested.
