Quality honey is a short film by Jakob Andratsch . The premiere took place on January 31, 2020 in the Schikaneder cinema . The film encompasses absurdities in seven scenes, each supported by a fade-in that underlines the achronological context of the narrative.
action
The focus is on the inviolability of impermanence and the involuntary inability of the people involved, as well as their attempts to stand up to some intangible form of fate. We have a comparison of the two male protagonists in the person of a woman who, in feminist thought, represents a counterpoint to the inability of the two male actors and who profoundly dispose and judge them, their lives and all the wisdom that enables them to live in fulfillment seems.
A beekeeper whose honey no longer achieves the quality of previous years has to wait and apparently deal in order to overcome the financial losses. A seemingly tough guy gets a cannon from the beekeeper and knows how to confront a family member who doesn't respond to anything else than to devastate them and then break them himself. And a young lady stands above things and shows them both the way out with solid and differentiated wisdom.

The director was Jakob Andratsch , who is also the author of the script. Marius Grabher, Isabelle August and Max Andratsch can be seen in the three main roles. Bernadette Prock and Jakob Andratsch also play supporting roles. The narrator, who accompanies the viewer through the film, is spoken by Michael Stark.
