The Italy district is a residential area in the Brucheschdall district of the Luxembourg city ​​of Dudelange .

In italy Quartier live to this day many people who do not have Luxembourg nationality have. The quarter was called the "Italian Quarter" or "Little Italy" because a large number of Italians had settled there around 50 to 60 years ago . Most of them had come to Luxembourg to work in the steel industry ( Arbed ).

In the small part of town there are some cafes, restaurants and a school. Today live here mostly Portuguese .

Louis Rech , Mayor of Dudelange from 1985 to 1993, came with his parents from Italy and grew up here.
