Queimadela is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Queimadela belongs to the district Fafe in Braga District . The community had an area of 10.3 km² and 489 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Queimadela and Monte were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Monte e Queimadela . Queimadela is the seat of this newly formed community.
