Quest of Aidance is a Swedish deathgrind band from Skövde that was formed in 2004.
history
The band was founded in early 2004 by drummer Christian Älvestam and guitarist Christian Lundgren. While working on the first demo called Human Trophy , Älvestam switched to the electric guitar and also took over the vocals. The bassist and singer Anders Johansson and the drummer Henrik Schönström joined the cast as additional members. The demo was recorded in the summer of 2004 under the direction of Robert Ahrlin at Flatpig Studios . The sound carrier was mastered at Criteria Mastering by Plec later that year. In mid-2005 Roy Yeo, label manager of Pulverized Records , contacted Christian Älvestam, who already knew each other through their collaboration at Unmoored . After Älvestam had sent him some recordings of Human Trophy , the group reached a contract with the label. About this the demo was re-released under the name Fallen Man Collection in March 2006, only with a different layout . Then Jonas Kjellgren joined the band as a further singer and guitarist. In late 2007 the group went to Kjellgren's Black Lounge Studios to record their debut album. In the meantime, the EP Dark Are the Skies at Hand was released in the summer of 2007 . The edition of this was limited to 300 pieces. Then singer Johansson left the band and was replaced by Daniel Valström. The debut album was released in 2013 under the name Misanthropic Propaganda on Pulverized Records.

According to Anzo Sadoni from Metal Hammer, the band on Misanthropic Propaganda play a punk mix of Grindcore and Death Metal. However, the group stands out from other Deathgrind bands by the dynamic songs.
