Quick is a Dutch sporting goods manufacturer that was founded in Hengelo (Gelderland) in 1905 .

Company stories

Quick produced shoes and clothing for various sports, but was best known for its football boots . Quick supplied the official running shoes for the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam . The company expanded in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. After that, however, the competition forced it on the defensive and ceased operations in 1992.

In 2001, ten years after the business was closed, Quick started up again in the municipality of Strijen . Where the company previously produced sporting goods, it now mainly produces retro fashion and shoes. Many models from the period between 1905 and 1992 are being manufactured again today.

In 2005 the brand existed for 100 years and published an anniversary book. Quick sponsors the AZ Alkmaar football club .
