Quido Adamec

Quido Adamec (born December 15, 1924 in Prague , † July 22, 2007 ) was a Czech ice hockey referee and a member of the IIHF Hall of Fame .

Career

He directed his first game in 1946. From 1952 to 1969 he was a referee in the Czechoslovak league . Internationally, he was game director at seven ice hockey world championships , including the 1959 world championships in Czechoslovakia .

He has been chairman of the Czech Referees Association since 1973 and was a member of the International IIHF Referees Association for over 25 years. In 2005 he was honored with induction into the IIHF Hall of Fame . In 2016 he was accepted into the Czech Ice Hockey Hall of Fame .
