Quincy Adams is the name of a metro station of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) in Quincy in the state of Massachusetts of the United States . It provides access to the Braintree branch of the line Red Line .

history

The Quincy Adams station was opened on September 10, 1983 as a subsequent stop between the terminus of the Red Line in Braintree and the Quincy Center station. The opening originally scheduled for 1980 was delayed by three years.
