Quintli was a unit of mass (weight measure) in Switzerland and corresponded to the quentchen . Small differences in the cantons should be noted.

  • Appenzell : 1 quintli = 0.2181 lot (Prussia = 16.667 grams) = 3.6351 grams
  • Sarnen ( canton Obwalden ): 1 quintli = 0.2204 lot = 3.6734 grams
  • Uri : 1 quintli = 0.2202 lot = 3.67 grams (also gold and silver weight)
