Quintli
Quintli was a unit of mass (weight measure) in Switzerland and corresponded to the quentchen . Small differences in the cantons should be noted.
- Appenzell : 1 quintli = 0.2181 lot (Prussia = 16.667 grams) = 3.6351 grams
- Sarnen ( canton Obwalden ): 1 quintli = 0.2204 lot = 3.6734 grams
- Uri : 1 quintli = 0.2202 lot = 3.67 grams (also gold and silver weight)
The light pound was divided into 128 quintli, the heavy pound into 144 quintli. One ounce was 8 quintals and 4 quintals were per lot. The four-of-a-kind as a heavy weight had 36, the light four-of-a-kind 32 quintli.
