Quintus Pompey Sosius Falco
Quintus Pompeius Sos ( s ) ius Falco (* in Sicily ) was a Roman politician and senator in the late 2nd century AD.
Falco came from Sicily , his father Quintus Pompeius Senecio Sosius Priscus was consul in 169 . With his wife Sulpicia Agrippina he had a son, Quintus Pompeius Falco Sosius Priscus, who was Quaestor as a candidate for Emperor Caracalla or Elagabal . Falco held the ordinary consulate in 193. Because of his wealth, he was chosen by the Praetorians to succeed Emperor Pertinax and would have suffered the honor that was due to him with his death if Pertinax had not stood up for him and banished Falco to the country.
