Quoka GmbH is a classified ads portal based in Mannheim, founded in 1983, consisting of the brands EVERYTHING , ads AVIS , inserat the , short & Fündig , pin board , district market , SperrMüll and & FIND East emerged. The publisher published 14 special offers in Germany and operates an online portal for regional and national classified ads in Germany. It is a subsidiary of Vorarlberger Russmedia GmbH and is financed primarily through advertising.

history

By 2005, the offer papers RevierMarkt , Such und Find , alles , Ad AVIS , autoaktuell , das inserat , Kurz & Fündig , Pinwand and SperrMüll were published by various publishing groups . The websites were also different. On January 1st, 2005 Russmedia (then Vorarlberger Medienhaus ) acquired Quoka GmbH 100 percent. As a result, the websites were merged and the advertisements have since been published on a joint website (quoka.de). At the end of 2011, Quoka closed its print area - the 16 weekly papers were discontinued - and has since concentrated on the online business. In the meantime, Quoka is one of the larger classifieds portals in Germany , alongside ebay classifieds , markt.de and dhd24 . According to the parent company russmedia, Quoka lists over 5 million ads and records over 120 million page views with 14 million visits per month. According to the AGOF, the static number of unique users of the classifieds portal in the period from March 2016 to March 2017 is between 1 and 1.5 million per month.

Private and commercial classified ads are published on the Internet. Placing simple standard advertisements is free for all advertisers. Prominent placements and highlights can be booked for a fee. A free app is available for iOS and Android.
