The Réserve écologique des Kettles-de-Berry is a 267 hectare protected area in the west of the Canadian province of Québec , in the Canton de Berry , around 45 km northwest of Amos .

The park represents the part of the system of protected areas of the province County Municipality of Abitibi and in particular the local kettle holes ( kettles ) and kettle holes , and the Esker Berry that after the last Ice Age have emerged. The landscape is between 320 and 345  m above sea level.

When the dead lake was formed, large blocks of ice, which often float under the glaciers, were covered over by sand when the glacier melted. As a result, these lakes have no outflow or inflow and form depressions after the ice has finally melted. Sölle, on the other hand, were created by wetting dead ponds. In the park area there are also post-glacial lakes such as Lac en Cœur , Lac Paludier and Lac la Perdrix . While these Ice Age and Post-Ice Age structures were mostly used or filled as gravel pits or rubbish dumps elsewhere, the Berry Kettles are very well preserved.

However, only the western slope of part of the Esker von Berry is in the reserve. This is relatively flat and much wider than it is high. Black spruce and Banks pine predominate, but there are also rare plants in the region such as Eriocaulon septangulare from the 1400 species of the Eriocaulaceae family , which is one of its northernmost occurrences here, and the water lobelia ( Lobelia dortmanna ).
