The Réserve écologique du Lac-Malakisis is a protected area established in 1978 and enlarged to 30.27 km² in 2003 in the southwest of the Canadian province of Québec in the regional county municipality of Témiscamingue . It is located 30 km east of the municipality of Témiscaming .

The reserve was set up to represent and protect a population of sugar maple - white birch forests typical of the region of the middle Laurentides . The landscape consists of hills that reach heights between 300 and 412  m . Some lakes are in the area, such as the eponymous 1.2 km² Lac Malakisis . Here are some of the last remaining original forests in Québec, so many trees are more than 250 years old.

The protected area established in 1978 was enlarged by 10.62 km² in 2003. The name 'Malakisis' goes back to an Algonquin word that means something like ' like the sun'.
