The rõuge suurjärv is a lake in the southern part of Estonia . It is the deepest lake in the country.
Rõuge Suurjärv is located in Rõuge Municipality in Võru County to the west of Haanja Ridge. Its area is 0.13 km². The deepest point of Rõuge Suurjärv is 38 m. Its average depth is 11.9 m.
Numerous springs feed the lake. Important fish species are perch , roach , pike and white bream .
