The Röbkeberg is a nunatak in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It rises on the western edge of the Penck-Mulde in Maudheimvidda .
It was discovered and named during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher . It is named after Karl-Heinz Röbke (* 1909), second officer on board the research ship Schwabenland . In Norway the nunatak is known as Isbrynet ( Norwegian for ice rim ).
