Rödl & Partner is an auditing and consulting company of German origin with headquarters in Nuremberg . The company has 5,120 employees at 109 locations in 49 countries.
history
After the law firm, tax advisor and auditor Bernd Rödl was founded in 1977 in Nuremberg , branches were founded in Hof and Munich. With the fall of the wall, the company expanded into the territory of the former GDR .
From 1989 Rödl & Partner began to expand internationally. The company deliberately did not go the way of cooperation with local partners ( network formation ), but opened its own branches and subsidiaries, first in Central and Eastern Europe, then in Asia and Western Europe. In 2000, the US tax consultancy and auditing company Langford de Kock was taken over. In 2005 a branch was established in São Paulo , Brazil , and in 2008 in Johannesburg, South Africa . The company's founder died on November 9, 2015 in Nuremberg.
