Pierre Dac (born August 15, 1893 in Châlons-sur-Marne as André Isaac , † February 9, 1975 in Paris ) was a French actor , humorist and comedian . He is buried in the Père-Lachaise cemetery.

Pierre Dac came from a humble background. In the 1930s he began a career as a singer in the Paris district of Montmartre. In 1938 he published the publication L'Os à Moelle, organe officiel des loufoques , to which Robert Rocca, Jean Effel , Moisan and others also contributed. The word "loufuques" comes from the " louchébem " - argot and means something like "crazy". In the first edition, Pierre Dac declared himself “King of the loufuques”. In absurd contributions z. B. The magazine disappeared after May 1940, but reappeared in individual issues until 1965, in which René Goscinny and Jean Yanne were among others .

From 1943 on, Pierre Dac was a humorist on Radio Londres , a French-language program broadcast from England by the BBC for France, which was divided by the Nazis during World War II . Here he fought a real propaganda war with the Vichy politician Philippe Henriot .

After the war he formed a comic duo with Francis Blanche , who became known with skits such as Sar Rabindranath Duval .

Dac and Blanche created the hugely popular series of radio plays Signé Furax , which was broadcast on the French public broadcaster RTF in 1951 and on Europe 1 from 1956 to 1960 . Contributors included Jean Carmet , Raymond Devos and Jacques Dufilho . The series later appeared as a comic in the France Soir newspaper .

Pierre Dac later created the agent parody Bons baisers de partout together with Louis Rognoni , which was broadcast on France Inter for several hundred episodes between 1965 and 1974 .

In 1965, Pierre Dac declared his candidacy for the office of French President , but withdrew it again under pressure from the government.
