The Roman manor of Bargen in Bargen bei Engen was a manor with a bathing facility from Roman times .

The four remote rubble mounds were explored and partially excavated in 1924 under the direction of Paul Revellio . Further smaller exploratory and inspection excavations were carried out in 2001 and 2004. The Villa rustica von Bargen is considered to be one of the best preserved facilities of its kind in Baden-Württemberg. The foundation walls were covered again to protect them further.
