Bargen is a district of Engen in the district of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg .

history

Bargen was first mentioned in a document in 1342. As part of the rule of Hewen, the place was incorporated into the Baden office of Engen in 1806, after its dissolution in 1936 it was temporarily part of the Donaueschingen district and in 1939 again to the Konstanz district.

Bargen was incorporated into Engen on July 1, 1971.

Location and transport links

Bargen is located north of the core town of Engen on the L 225 state road . The A 81 runs north and east . The Bargen Roman Manor ground monument is located near Bargen .
