Rønne Kommune was until December 2002 a Danish municipality in what was then Bornholms Amt on the island of Bornholm . On January 1, 2003, it was merged with the municipalities of Allinge-Gudhjem , Åkirkeby , Hasle and Neksø to form Bornholms Regionskommune , which was vacant from 2003 to 2006, before being incorporated into the Hovedstaden region in 2007 .
