The Rückerskanal is a canal in the Hamburg district of Hamm .

The canal with the water body no. 6841 is a connecting channel that connects the central channel and the south channel . The name goes back to Johann Hinrich Rücker (1780–1837), who owned a large property with a country house ( Villa Rücker ) here.

The canal was laid after the villa was demolished in 1909 as part of the expansion of the Hammerbrooker canals to the east and originally served both to drain the low-lying marshland and to provide access to the new residential and commercial areas.

Today the canal is mainly used as a recreational and fishing water.
