Rüdiger Hut

Rüdiger Hütte (born November 12, 1959 in Paderborn ) is a German political official ( CDU ). From 2007 to 2009 he was State Secretary in the Thuringian Ministry of the Interior and from 2010 to 2013 Head of the Central Department in the Office of the Federal President .

Life

After graduating from the Theodorianum in Paderborn in 1978 and completing military service, Hütte studied law in Freiburg im Breisgau, Geneva and Bonn from 1979 to 1984 . In 1994 he moved to the Federal Chancellery and finally in 1999 to the Bundestag administration .

In 2000, Hütte went to Erfurt and initially headed the central department in the Thuringian Ministry of Science, Research and Art, and from 2004 the municipal department in the Free State's Ministry of the Interior. In 2005 he took over the post of director of the Thuringian state parliament .

Hut is Roman Catholic , married and has two children.

politics

In 2006, Hütte was appointed State Secretary in the Thuringian Ministry of Justice. In June 2007 he moved to the Ministry of the Interior as successor to Stefan Baldus . After the resignation of the Thuringian Minister of the Interior, Karl Heinz Gasser , Hütte took over provisional management of the ministry from April 8, 2008 to May 8, 2008.

On September 1, 2009, he resigned from the office of State Secretary and succeeded Cornelia Quennet-Thielen as head of the department for central affairs at the Office of the Federal President in Berlin. After the state elections in Thuringia in 2009 and the formation of the new state government under Christine Lieberknecht , Jörg Geibert was appointed as the new Thuringian Secretary of State on November 4, 2009 .

In 2014 he was given temporary retirement . Since May 2015, he has been the full-time director of the German Lost Cultural Center Foundation .
