Rudiger Wick

Rüdiger Wick (born October 14, 1971 in Bonn ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Fiscal Court .

Live and act

Wick studied law at the University of Cologne , where he passed his first state examination in 1997. After the subsequent legal clerkship, he passed his second state examination in Düsseldorf in 2000. On October 1, 2000, he joined the financial administration of the State of Hesse , where he was employed in the higher administrative service at the Offenbach-Land and Darmstadt tax offices. On July 1, 2002 he switched to the higher judicial service of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate as a judge . There he was initially employed at the Neustadt an der Weinstrasse administrative court , from January 2008 Wick worked as a judge at the Rhineland-Palatinate finance court in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse . From November 2010 to June 2013, he was seconded to the Federal Constitutional Court as a research assistant .

In July 2017, Wick was elected judge at the Federal Fiscal Court. He took up this position on November 1, 2018 and was assigned to the X Senate, which was primarily responsible for the taxation of individual traders and for disputes in the areas of special expenses and retirement income.
