The Rəşadət Order ( Azerbaijani : “Rəşadət” ordeni , in German: Order of Valor or Order of Valor ) is an order of the Republic of Azerbaijan . When it was introduced in late 2017, it was the fifth highest of ten orders in the Republic of Azerbaijan . He is the second highest military order in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

history

The establishment of a Rəşadət Order for the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan was first announced by the Azəri Press Agentliyi (APA) on November 6, 2017. On November 17, 2017, in the plenary session of the Milli Məclis (National Assembly), a corresponding bill was discussed and adopted by the MPs. With the signing of Decree No. 3442 by President İlham Əliyev on December 4, 2017, Law No. 884-VQD of November 17, 2017 “on the Amendment of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the establishment of orders and medals of the Republic of Azerbaijan, came into force 'in connection with the establishment of the' Rəşadət 'order of the Republic of Azerbaijan ”in force and the Rəşadət order officially established.

Award criteria and wearing style

“Article 1. Persons to be awarded

1.1. The 'Rəşadət' Order of the Republic of Azerbaijan is awarded to the military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan:

1.1.1. for special services to ensure the independence, territorial integrity and security of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

1.1.2. for high professionalism during combat operations which led to the surrender of an important or strategic area, settlement, district or city from the occupation of the enemy;

1.1.3. for courage and valor in preventing enemy attacks while defending the country, liberating the occupied territories, destroying the enemy, or destroying the enemy's fighting strength;

1.1.4. for bravery and decisive action in real danger to life and health;

1.1.5. for special services in rescuing people in emergencies or extreme conditions;

1.1.6. for special services in ensuring the security of state borders.

1.2. The 'Rəşadət' order of the Republic of Azerbaijan is awarded in three classes.

1.3. The 'Rəşadət' order 1st class is the highest class.

Article 2. Wearing
The 'Rəşadət' order is worn on the left side of the chest and in the presence of other orders and medals of the Azerbaijan Republic according to the 'Azərbaycan-Bayrağı' order. "
