The R509 ( Russian P509 ) is a 23-kilometer regional road in Russia and runs through the southern part of the Krasnosnamensk Rajon ( Lasdehnen district , 1938-1946 Haselberg ) in the Kaliningrad Oblast ( Koenigsberg region (Prussia) ).

The road connects today's settlement Dobrowolsk (former district town Pillkallen , 1938–1946 Schloßberg ) on the R 508 and R 510 with the R511 and the Russian- Lithuanian border crossing point Kutusowo ( Schirwindt ) / Kudirkos Naumiestis ( Neustadt-Schirwindt ). Before 1945, numerous smaller and larger villages lined the road, none of which exist today, but which are sometimes reminiscent of building remains or tree planting.
