REEM-A

REEM-A is the first humanoid robot developed by Pal Technology. Like most humanoid robots, he can move dynamically with bipedals and can play chess, among other things. He perceives his environment by means of a microphone , a stereo camera , six-axis force sensors , an acceleration sensor and a gyroscope . He recognizes objects and faces and can communicate with people using language.

REEM-B

REEM-B is the second prototype; like REEM-A, it can move dynamically with bipedals and can also play chess, among other things. Like REEM-A, it perceives its environment by means of a microphone , a stereo camera , six-axis force sensors , an acceleration sensor and a gyroscope , but it also has an ultrasound sensor and a laser scanner . This enables him to climb stairs and to find his way around in every building in the world, since he even creates a kind of map of his surroundings . Like its predecessor, it can carry heavy loads, it can handle up to 12 kg.

goal of the project
