The RHM hospital and nursing home businesses BV & Co. KG was a company based in the Rhineland-Palatinate town Deidesheim , the acute hospitals , specialized nursing homes and various rehabilitation clinics in Germany for operation.
A total of 26 clinics and nursing homes with 2,900 treatment places recently belonged to the group, including rehabilitation clinics, nursing homes, acute clinics, reintegration facilities and a facility for the disabled. Around 50,000 mainly chronically ill people were cared for and treated annually in the 13 specialist and competence areas of the RHM Group. The twelve locations of the RHM group were spread over seven federal states. The focus was on Rhineland-Palatinate, with further clinics in Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Saxony and Brandenburg. Since 2013, Thuringia and Bavaria have also been part of the federal states with RHM locations.
Until 2011, the company was privately owned, since May 2011 the private equity investor Waterland Private Equity , whose headquarters are in the Netherlands, had a majority stake. On December 15, 2014, Waterland Private Equity also took over the majority in Median Kliniken and announced the merger with RHM. The merger of Median-Kliniken and RHM created a new company based in Berlin in 2015 . The Deidesheim administrative location was subsequently given up and the office relocated to the former telecommunications building in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse .
