The Reichsbahn SG Oels was a sports club in the German Empire based in what is now the Polish city of Oleśnica .
history
For the 1939/40 season , the club rose from the 1st district class to the Lower Silesia District League . Integrated into Division 1 - Wroclaw , the team reached first place in the first season with 15: 5 points and qualified for the finals of the district championship. There the team met SV Preußen Waldenburg-Altwasser which they could beat away with 0: 3 in the first leg and 1: 6 in the second leg at home. In the following round of promotion, the RSG and all other clubs were able to qualify for promotion to the Gauliga Lower Silesia .
After the first season in the Gauliga, the club was able to finish the season with 9:23 points in seventh place. After the 1942/43 season, the team only ended up in tenth place without being able to win a single game and with only a total of twelve self-scored but 71 goals by the opposing side, the club then rose due to the dissolution of the lower divisions then still not off. For the season 1943/44, the RSG was then in the season Wroclaw B of the group Wroclaw classified. Whereby only the sixth and last place with at least 3:17 points was to be booked in the end.
In the 1944/45 season , the club no longer competed in the league, but the game only ran for a few game days anyway. At the latest at the end of the Second World War , the association was also dissolved.
