Raúl Monroy is a former Mexican soccer player who mainly played in defense or defensive midfield .
career
Monroy came to the junior division of Club Deportivo Guadalajara in 1965 and received a professional contract with the same club in 1968/69 .
The most successful season of his short career as a professional footballer was the 1969/70 season, in which he won both the Mexican football championship and the cup competition and (because of this one-two inevitably also) the Supercup .
