Raabystupet ( Norwegian ) is a partially snow-covered rock face in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It rises up at the head of Johansenbotnen in the middle section of Sivorgfjella in Heimefrontfjella .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it 1987. It is named torstein raaby (1919-1964), radio technicians and resistance fighters against the German occupation of Norway in World War II , which, moreover, in 1947, led by Thor Heyerdahl on the trip on the raft Kon-Tiki had participated .
