Rabbi Levi is an impact crater to the south of the front of the moon , southwest of Mare Nectaris , southeast of Zagut crater and southwest of Lindenau . The crater is heavily eroded, the interior has several secondary craters.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Jewish mathematician, astronomer and Talmudic scholar Levi ben Gershon .
