Rabbinate Soultz-sous-Forêts

The rabbinate Soultz-sous-Forêts was 1865-1930 a Rabbinatsbezirk (fr. Circonscription rabbinique) in Soultz-sous-Forêts , a French commune in the Bas-Rhin in the region Alsace . It was created by moving the Surbourg Rabbinate to Soultz-sous-Forêts.

Law of May 25, 1844

The law of May 25, 1844, which established the statutes of the Jewish religious community ("Règlement pour l'organization du culte israélite") in France determined the creation of the rabbinical district in Surbourg , which in 1865 was moved to Soultz-sous-Forêts.
