Rachid Natouri

Rachid Natouri (born February 26, 1946 in Béjaïa ; † May 13, 2017 ) was an Algerian football player .

Athletic career

Natouri came in 1963 to the then second division AS Angoulême in France, via US Marignane he moved in 1967 within Division 2 to EAC Chaumont . However, since the club received no license at the end of the season and relegated to the amateur sector, he moved to US Boulogne . There the talented offensive player, who had meanwhile played for the Algerian national team, but was only used sporadically for the "Fenneks" between 1968 and 1970, attracted a lot of attention and was transferred to FC Metz in Division 1 at the beginning of 1971 . With the club he placed in the following two years as table eight and fourteenth in the midfield of the championship.

1972 Natouri went back to the second division, where he first played a season for Troyes Aube Football . In his subsequent station AC Ajaccio he stayed two years, with the club in 1974 given its professional license and relegated to the amateur area. In 1975 he moved to AS Aix-en-Provence before moving on to AAJ Blois in 1977 . With the club he rose to Division 2 in 1978, and ended his active career there two years later.
