Rachid Tiberkanine ( Arabic رشيد تيبركانين; * March 28, 1985 in Antwerp , Belgium ) is a Moroccan - Belgian football player . Tiberkanine currently plays in the United Arab Emirates .

Career

In the club

Tiberkanine began his career at RFC Liège in Belgium, and later moved to JS Pierreuse. In 2005 he joined the reserve team at Ajax Amsterdam . But because he never made a professional appearance, he moved to Germany for Bayer 04 Leverkusen in 2006 . At Leverkusen he played 25 regional league games and scored three goals. Since his contract was not extended, he went to FC Daugava Daugavpils in Latvia in 2007 . There he played 19 games and scored three goals. In the summer of 2008 he moved to Levski Sofia . There he made 14 games in the 2008/09 season in which he scored three goals and was Bulgarian champions with Levski. Then he won the Supercup against Litex Lovetsch before it was awarded to Dubai . After the loan ended, he stayed in the United Arab Emirates , where he is still active today.

In the national team

Tiberkanine first went through various Belgian U-national teams, but then decided to play for Morocco. With the U-20 national team of Morocco , he took part a little later in the Junior World Cup in 2005 in the Netherlands , where he was fourth behind Brazil. After that he was not used for any further selection.
